[Collins] Trouble shooting the KWS-1

I wanted to take a moment and thank those who took the time and give me
advice and to share the outcome. The symptom was when I set the idle current
it would gradually go to zero.

I scoped the screen VDC and it looked clean but gradually declined from over
300VDC to 200VDC.

I was told to change C506. Well I looked at C506 it had been replaced before
and I replaced it again. The symptom remained. I came close to changing all
the caps in the PA and bypass cap. But one of the guys on the reflector
reminded me to divide and conquer - I worked my way back up the regulator
circuit and what I discovered is C506 was connected to the wrong pin. Who
ever changed it before made a mistake and I follow him. Got to maintain a
sense of humor.
