The 6EA8 is very close but sometimes better than the 6U8A. Earlly 75S
use 6U8A and later used 6EA8. Its possible that happened in the KWM-2
also. I believe the CCA manual is from about the most recent edition.

There should be four wires near the meter. Two for lamp and two for
meter. Those for the lamp might still be connected to the lamp holder.
The two for the meter ought to have 1/4" ID solder lugs if the meter was
removed with respect for the radio. Though any could have been cut. The
meter wires go directly to the main relay. The lamp wires go to the tube
heater circuits.

In Collins color codes, the white wire is known as 9 and the green
stripe on white is known as 95.
