LONG screws are a benefit when hanging a heavy rack panel mounted item.
Put in the bottom screws first. Then you don't bend the panel. Sometimes
with really heavy stuff it works best to put the bottom screws in from
the back, then use washers and nuts out front. With the screws to rest
the equipment on, one person can hang a much heavier hunk of equipment.

Its even neater to line the cup washers with nylon cup washers. Then you
don't CUT into the panel's paint.
