Garey, this 32S-3 manual says load to 230 ma. Of course on SSB or CW once
loaded the average DC is going to be less. But the radio does run RTTY and
there the duty cycle is nearly 100%.
Perhaps a hint of the current capability can be had from the 5R4 high voltage
rectifier and the 5U4 low voltage rectifier. Both good for something a bit over
200 ma. I always think the low voltage current should be more like 100 ma (from
AM exciter days), but if it was they would have used a 5Y3 for the low voltage
rectifier to keep things cooler in the power supply.
