After a lot of work, I have 75A-2 serial #222 up and running.  Still need to put a good RF alingement on it but otherwise seems to be very stable.  I am easily able to copy SSB signals with out any drift.

My question is on the S meter, it does not move at all, in fact I thought I saw it deflecting down rather then up on strong signals.  I thought maybe the leads were reversed so reversed the leads and the S meter seemed to work better and was deflecting upward in the right direction.  I rechecked the schematic and it was correct the first way I had it so put it back.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what to look for in this circuit to get it working ?  Appreciate any comments/suggestions as to what the problem is.
