Hello all,

The wooden block information in the subject Collins Journal, including specific critical construction details, is worth the price of an annual subscription to the magazine. I don't know how many times I have seen a badly mangled 516F-2 at flea markets. You probably have had the same experience. Mine did not come with wooden blocks only because I picked it up the Cherry Building in CR when I was with Collins just before the Rockwell acquisition. When my career moves required relocation I always moved the Collins gear in my vehicle--no way would I let a mover pack it--and I didn't have those wooden blocks.

We all need to help, one way or another, and a subscription to the Collins Journal is an easy way to do so for the CRA.

We also need to support this list. Al's servers require green to run, and that isn't cheese!

Think of it this way: the Collins Journal is a collector's item. Subscribe today and buy up as many back issues as you can. When they are out of print, they're gone forever. When they go too fast Dave may have to consider scanning the early, already unavailable issues onto a CD.
