[Collins] Universal Service Co. Product detector

Al,
Much of this is from memory.
The detector dates from the mid to late 50's.  I built a similar device for
my long gone 75A3.
The unit sits vertically in the FM socket of the 75A.  It contains a product
detector and BFO.
It is in circuit in the FM position.  There should be a shaft for tuning the
BFO.  The shaft extends through the front panel in place of the Collins
emblem.

A search of 50's QST will have ads and schematics that are very similar to
Universal's.
I believe they used the "Crosley" circuit.

If all this is wrong, I blame it on a "senior moment" and take no
responsibility. ;~)
