Try a sporting goods store that is big with fishermen
(i.e. Bass-Pro Shops).  They usually stock very
flexible metal "leader lines" and so forth.  That
material works very well for replacing the cable in
the KWM-2 series.  Also, while you are there, look for
line that works for replacing "normal" dial cord.
