Hello,

I was looking for the dual electrolytic capacitor used in the 516F-2
power supply and finally found a suitable replacement at Jan Wüsten
Elektronik here in Germany.
http://www.fragjanzuerst.de/eindex.htm
Go down below the nixie clock and click on new capacitors. On the next
page click on electrolytics by FTCap

He offers capacitors from current production made by the German company
Fischer & Tausche. He has a dual 33uF at 450V. Collins used a
15uF/30uF at 300V capacitor but the higher capacity doesn't seem to have
any ill effects. Dimensions are 25mm x 50mm, about 1" diameter and 2"
long. It should fit nicely the metal clamp mounted under the 516F-2
chassis. Price is EUR 5.77 about $7.50 at today's exchange rate.

I understand that most of you are reluctant to order overseas because of
the high shipping charges but I will be in the US in early December and
can bring along what you want.

If anybody needs this capacitor to restore his 516F-2 please drop me an
email.
