Ian,
It's been quite a while since I had one, but dumped it a month later. Felt it was worthless. Anyway, all I recall was a lead out of the module that had a "hook" going to a pin on the 6AU6 PTO tube. Also I recall a "review" on that product in CQ or 73 Magazine.
What I didn't care for was the offset was only a Khz in the direction of the selected sideband. +1khz offset higher in USB, and -1Khz only in the LSB. I pulled it and went with the 312B-5.
