[Collins] Need 30K-1 final loading help

Hello,

I am about to go nuts trying to get a 30K-1 to load into a dummy load.....I 
think
I have tried just about every possible permutation with generally poor 
results.
The best I've been able to do is about 100 watts out with the plate current 
at
about 60% of what the manual says is normal.....I just can't get it to load 
any
heavier.

My current setup is this.  I am using a balanced output into a 4:1 balun 
through
a Bird wattmeter into a 50 ohm dummy load.  I have tried various 
permutations of the setup as shown in the manual for balanced output but 
with generally poor results.
I have tried various settings for the tuner coil taps, jumper in, jumper 
out, .....
you name it I've tried it.  Could someone please tell me what works for 
them?
