Mr. Lee , perhaps, someone, other than myself, can offer a definitive
answer to your query.
Can anyone respond to Mr. Lee's question. I would be only speculating as to
the differences in voltage rating between the types of sockets that Amphenol
produced. Of course, there must have been a reason for Colins using the
blue sockets or plugs rather than another type. The blue sockets were
described by Amphenol as "special" - they certainly were attractive, if you
will. In all the hamfests that I have attended, the blue sockets are
conspicuously absent from the tables.
Dr. Jerry, can you answer this question, please.
