Please excuse my leave of forgetting that I willing subrogated my first amendment rights, and that I still fondly speak of Dallas , and being a posse bubba, much to the 2ca moderators displeasure..
The bigger issue here is some levity and fun for any who might want to attend a very informal Collins enthusiast dinner, sans any political agendas, the Friday night of HamCom weekend.. Exact details to follow, when Bob gets emm worked out..    thank you  mac/mc

Well it's looking like we can plan for a Friday nite Collins enthuse dinner, during this years HamCom, I talked with some of my fellow  " Chest Beating Posse Bubbas "  [ Quote !  Dave Kelly, circa 1998 ] and all things considered, with me not living in the immediate area, it would be real hard to do the outdoor BBQ thing..  So Bob Peters, now W1PE, is lining up a local Hot Spot restaurant, with a TexMex cuisine type menu ...
  
In keeping with past strict Collins standards, we will have no topless women, no form of lap dancing, keeping a wholesome Collins Family atmosphere...  OK  OKK  we will find a place that does serve 807s and Johnnie Collins, invited dignitaries will include any of us who show up..  several weeks ago it looked like I had about 20 or more interested dinner partners, so respond if you can , one 2CA board member expressed that he would very likely make the event,  [ Robert Turner ]   I will check and see if wa5vvt is planning to make HC this year or not..

I will try and bring the BUDster, that will be a task..  do you all want to try and do any door prizes or just keep it simple..

I just received word that Pappa Zulu will not want us at his QTH, if Ron Fireman,  errrr  sorry,  Ron Freeman K5MM is in any way involved with grills and cooking..  so I guess Pete will join us for a more formal setting, and not use his station, as a site to likely receive some form of an OO  " bad report  "  ..  

Bill Carnes will bring his worked all OO splatter reports, as proof of his continued " Worked all Bands " using only 40 mtrs as the transmit medium..
  
So if you can , give me a heads up on if you think you can make it for Friday nite  / Collins dinner.. although the 2CA legal team has asked me add a disclaimer, that anything dumb we do will not be received well..
