I've said it b4 and I'll say it again.......NOBODY owns anything, we are just 
temporary caretakers of (whatever material item you possess), until it passes 
on to the next user. Glad the previous caretaker took 'care' of it. I'm sure 
the next user will appreciate the care you'll lavish on it.

I am constantly amazed how well my 51J-3 works (considering it's vintage) 
compared to more modern radios.
