You have my sympathy and prayers Cam. I did a similar thing years ago,
losing my left middle fingertip.
My old friend N1HTT (now SK) told me of the mill workers here in Maine that
have all lost fingers.
Time healed my injury without any serious medical intervention. The tip is
stubbed off now, but it's okay. I'm sure your injury will heal as well. Give
it time, keep it clean, change the dressing often, and eat and rest well.
Before you know it you'll be as good as new.

Subject: [Collins] Unusual request...
Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask for prayer. Two days ago I had finished winching out a
neighbors car that had slid off the road in a fairly remote spot and was
replacing the winch cable on the drum. It was near the end of the cable
when it caught my right glove and pulled my right ring finger and little
finger in between the cable an fairlead smashing and cutting the end of my
ring finger off.
I am self employed and work with my hands and now face 6 or more weeks of
recovery before I can return to work. I feel blessed that the injury wasn't
worse, but am asking for prayer for a speedy recovery.
Thanks, 73 and God bless you all.
