If the unit has been in military service, chances are that it was =
rebuilt a time or two.
If so, all the modules were taken out, rebuilt and assembled in the next =
donor chassis, including
the name tags! Check the modules inside and see if they are all from the =
same manufacture, that
may give you a clue!

This is my first request as well as my first email to the group.
Greetings from Melbourne - Australia.
I recently acquired a beautiful R-390A, which is in top condition and =
works like a dream. It out performs my 51-S1, without a doubt.
I am trying to trace the history of this unit. Who made it ? It's year =
of manufacture etc.
Please enlighten me.
This is what is on the nameplate on the front panel.
