If you have an electric motor rewind shop nearby, they should have tons of scrap
insulating paper.  We use Cequin , Tufquin ( Google search ), DMD and various other
papers in our motor and transformer rewinding.

  Our normal suppliers are Essex Brownell or EIS.  Yes, it comes in many thicknesses
and ratings.  If you have trubble finding small quantities after researching, give me
a holler with your needs, and I'll mail you some scrap pieces.
