[Collins] 55G-1 Project

Have heard from several of you regarding the reproduction 55G-1 low
frequency preselector that was as companion piece for the 51S-1.
I spoke to a ham from Chicago who owns a 55G-1 and he informed me that the
gain from 2000 Khz down to 200 khz is phenonomal. Stations on 160 meter are
brought out of the noise with the 55G-1 plugged in.
Only 10 units will be produced unless there is demand for more to be
produced.
Let us know your interest. If you know someone with a 51S-1, please tell
him about this new product.
Delivery is projected to be in January, 2005.
These units are being produced in the same high quality as their other
Collins reproduction items by Advanced Optics Ltd.
