the old way we learned to tune things up to me still holds true, tune for 
max smoke via. dip and load dip and load, and finish in the dip step... 
disregard the meter... use the wattmeter and let err go.. when it's all said 
and done, presuming no one has tinkered with the respective small loading 
coils in the back, it's the only way you can load this amp.. you only have 2 
controls to work from.. mac/mc
