[Collins] Collins 55G-1 Reproduction

For some time now, I have been telling you the new Collins 55G-1
reproduction unit that has been under development by the CRA and Advanced
Optics Ltd.

Now I am happy to report that delivery of  a limited number of units will be
available,  on or before January 15, 2005, barring any unforeseen problems.

Both the CRA and Advanced Optics appreciate your patience and understanding
of the time that it has taken to make these quality units available.

The unit follows the original schematic.  The cabinets are identical to the
original, including the face plate.  For ease of installation, the unit is
powered by a small 9-volt battery.

Initially, plans call for an initial run of only 10 units, with more being
produced, depending on future demands.  No units will be available in kit
form, at this time.

The price is $700 plus UPS shipping.

A brochure is now being prepared to describe the unit, with pictures.  Send
a self addressed, stamped business size envelope to:

next several weeks.
