OK Many thanks Tom but the first site you mention with the Shure 55SH
mic on special for $169  is the newer type which is quite different from
the original Shure 55S Teledyne which had selectable three different
impedances while this newer version is very low impedance only. What I
had stumbled upon is the original older type Shure Teledyne 55S.

    I was on the Shure web site but I could NOT find any information on
the old Shure 55S Teledyne triple impedance dynamic microphone
(referred to as Elvis Preslie mic). I have owned one for quite a number
of years but just recently stumbled across a few of them and wondered if
there was demand for them and what is the going price for them now?
