I am repairing my 32S-3 Serial No. 11499.
I have the Radio Era CDs with the manuals, but I find 3 different ones =
issued on 5/15/63, 1/15/68 and 5/1/69. I wonder if there are differences =
from one issue to other, so I would like to know which one corresponds =
to my radio. Is there any way to know it?
I would like to know if I am working in right direction with the problem =
I have with my radio: Specially in 15m one of the 2 finals get its =
plate red, it is not the other one as I suspected because I change them =
of positions and the one in the same position gets red, I replaced the =
tube base but the problem continues, I read that it could be the C56 =
passtrough condenser, I removed it and replaced with one passtrough of =
different shape but same capacity, .001, similar to the ones in the =
voltage lines that enter the final tubes grid cage. I have not tested it =
yet, but I wonder if that replacemment is OK.
Thanks for your help,
Jim, HK3AHM/1
