[Collins] 32S-1 - Fuse Found in the Final Amp

This past week I recall reading a thread from a user who found a small fuse in the final amp area of his 32S-1. He mentioned that the fuse was not on the schematic. That is correct. See CQ Magazine, August, 1962, "Mods to the 32S-1." The fuse, a 1/16 amp 8AG, was placed in the 6146's screen lead [pin-3] based on a non-linearity issue found by that author. In addition, the mod changes and/or removes R113 and R114. The fuse ties directly to the 275 vdc run "...to improve linearity..." [how did he know it was nonlinear?] "and protect the tubes in case of HV failure." If removing that fuse, check those resistors!
