The sparking? Does it occur in the SSB, CW, or both switch positions? If it occurs only in SSB mode [higher voltage], open the PS door. Shut off the room lights and defeat the door interlock. Don't stick your head in, but you should see where the arc is located.
In my unit, it was the door interlock's crow-bar disk arcing across its floating insulator when in SSB mode, only. Noticeable only with the lights out.
