[Collins] R-388 repair advice

Hello there,

I've just gone through a pretty nice R-388 fixing the power supply and 
various small mechanical and cosmetic issues. Set works pretty well, but 
before I button it up, are there any common trouble spots to look at??

Maybe some caps with high failure rates, switch contacts that get noisy 
easily, etc. 

Also, perhaps there are some minor reversible mods to consider.

I'm not into fixing what's not broken, but I also don't want to rack 
install the set only to be pulling it out next week.

So... opinions??
