[Collins] R390A/URR mod.

Hi all out there.
 
What is the best ssb/agc modification for the R390A receiver ?
I modified a R390 ( none A ) about 20 years ago that I am fairly happy
with, using a 6BE6. I wonder if any new and even better mods have
appeared since. If any one has some good onces or knows where
to find them, I would appreciate hearing from you.
