Hello to the list..

I recently acquired the most unique 75A-4 that I have ever seen ! After
restoring it back to fine operating condition I am looking for what
Collins calls " A coverplate to change the front panel band designations
" This is a regular 75A-4 in every respect except Collins changed 3
bands ( 15, 11 and 10 meters ) to conform with BUSHIPS. The new
bands were 4.3 to 5.1, 13.1 to 13.9 and 5.2 to 6.1 respectively. I
believe Collins changed the radio back to the original 75A-4 bands or
the Ham who came by it may have made the changes back to a normal 75A-4
The original Collins schematic and other pages that came with the
receiver have shed a great deal light on how this was accomplished. I
would like to find is the band switch cover that Collins speaks about,
this is the only part number that was not included with the BUSHIPS
Modification. I would guess it to be round with the new bands in place
of the 15, 11 and 10 meter positions. It is held in place by 3 small
screws.
If, by chance, anyone out there has one of these I would appreciate
hearing from you.

73 and thanks for your help..
