[Collins] R-388

Hello again everyone. The rig I picked up turned out to be a
straight R-388. I brought it up slowly on a variac today, and it
basically works, but with a few problems. I have not done any
troubleshooting yet, but I do have a question regrding the
selectivity switch. It seems to function more as an attenuator
than anything else. It does not seem to have any effect on
the selectivity. I am in need of a schematic and manual. I
have downloaded the 51J-4 manual from the CCA site, but I
understand the filters in particular are different between the
rigs. TIA for any help or suggestions. 73,
