Hi all
so there are other people working on this gear after all :-) Please refer for details to http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/2101 which is a review of the set and gives the type numbers of the receiver, PAs and control heads. 
 
I am myself planning to get the 671U-4A receiver/exciter working but had no choice (after a long futile search) but to order the manuals from SSN (if you look at the list, you'll likely to need Parts 1 and 2). Haven't received them yet so I cannot provide more details. The sets are still in use and there is a market for them in the aircraft business - unfortunately that fact is reflected in the cost for items such as mounts...
