Hi all

For years I have been thinking about writing a book about the TCS series
of transmitter/receiver. I acquired my first TCS when I was 12 years old,
and have come to the conclusion that in many respects, the TCS played a
role in WWII and amateur radio that should be recorded for the enjoyment
and information of all.

If you have any information, personal anecdotes, photographs, wartime
experience, maintenance experience, or details of people who
were involved with the design, construction, field maintenance etc. I
would be pleased to hear from you.

This is a big project, and its succes will depend to a large extent on the
co-operation of contributors. All contributions will be acknowledged.

For those of you who subscribe to other Collins lists, I aplogise if you
received this message once more.

Regards

Ludwig
