My loss could be your gain --

Cosmetically, this very early 32S-1 (with beautiful Simpson meter) is very
good with a flawless front panel and very nice cabinet. It's un-dinged,
un-dented, clean and all there, too -- every single component intact (except
tubes -- no tubes, unless you want the clapped-out set that came with it).

But, this rig needs work. According to Bud Whitney, it'll take extensive
troubleshooting or "shotgunning" with some new caps, some new resistors,
perhaps a disassembly and cleaning of all trimmers, new tubes, new
neutralization circuit components, and a complete realignment to get it
working properly. Also, if you want the balanced modulator and CW
improvements mods done, you're on your own.

This transmitter was an Ebay "hangar queen" and I took a licking on it. If
you're ambitious, you can restore it to pristine Collins-hood or use it as a
territic parts source. As for me, I'm looking for a REALLY NICE, WORKING,
FULLY FUNCTIONAL, COMPLETELY ALIGNED and TESTED 32S-3 (please!).

As for the vintage 32S-1, I'll ship it to anyone in the Continental U.S. for
$275.00 with my best wishes and encouragement to have fun.
