[Collins] 75S-3 S-meter acts oddly; also STBY/OPR no difference

Thanks to Dr. Johnson, Dave Knepper, Tom Laird and Cal Zinjanthropus for
pointers on dealing with my wonky meter problem. Now I've got a good
idea how to proceed.
Next question, and one I hate to have to raise, but a promise is a
promise, particularly when a spouse is concerned :-)... I just picked
up a used FT-100, and part of the involuted financial arrangements
surrounding the acquisition was a vow to the wife to sell the HF amp...
I'm trying to get a feel for what a reasonable asking price for a 30L1
would be. My father acquired one just before his last bout with
leukemia; I don't know if he ever got 'round to firing it up and using
it but I think not. It's in very clean shape cosmetically; I'm planning
on hauling in a dummy load and wattmeter to give it a go/no-go test (it
not being kosher for a Tech to on-air-test an HF amp :-) ) before
offering it up to the tender mercies of the Collins community. What
sort of dollar value can I attach to this thing?
