I think the conclusion generally agreed here on the forum is that the differences between the two would have been a result of negligence on the part of operators on the fiducial/bezel milling machine. Perhaps a little sleeplessness the night before, intoxication on grappa, or simple absentmindedness...who knows? Cal, N6KYR.
