I see in the new March 2003 QST that Bob Stankus, K4NV (ex W2VCZ) has passed
away.  Bob retired to Englewood, Florida but moved to Jacksonville several
years ago to be near family.  He was a contest operator of note in the
1950's and early 60s at both W2VCZ and the mega station
K2HLB.  Bob is best known to Collins and Boatanchor fans for his articles
and modifications of the 75A4.   Bob worked around and with such Long Island
and New york firms as Eldico, Cosmos, and Link.  Bob was still working 3
years ago although he had reduced his hours.  He also kept a high serial
number 75A4.
