You can't tell from the serial number.  Take a look at
the heterodyne crystals for a code date.  Unless one
has been replaced at a later date, most of them should
be fairly close (within 2 or 3 months).  Add a couple
of months to the last code date (i.e. 2-64 would mean
February of 1964 and adding months would make April or
May of 1964).
