Be sure the replacement choke is rated for a half amp plate current. And
for 21 MHz operation. The older chokes put the series resonance about
there and were quickly fried when the 21 MHz band opened. That resonance
is easy to check with a grid dip meter. Short the ends of the choke
together and look for a dip with the dipper.
