Old electrolytics store poorer than electrolytics being used. This style
of capacitor isn't being made by the conventional capacitor
manufacturers. Its possible Antique Electronic Supply may have something
to fit. Otherwise some have opened up the can and installed new guts
which takes some care to hide the access to the can.
A working alternative is to replace the capacitor terminals with a
terminal strip putting the wires that where on the capacitor terminals
to the individual terminals on the terminal strip, then wiring in modern
compact axial lead electrolytics under the chassis. Mouser carries
usable parts from Sprague.
