Collins Amateur Radio Clubs
W0CXX - W5ROK - W4CRC
The three Rockwell Collins Amateur Radio Clubs, W0CXX in Cedar Rapids, IA;
W5ROK in Richardson, TX and W4CRC in Melbourne, FL will operate special
event stations in commemoration of:
20 years of Collins ARC (organized in fall of 1983)
70 years of Rockwell Collins (Collins Radio Co. incorporated Sept. 9, 1933)
100 years of Aviation (first power flight Dec. 17, 1903)
All three stations will be active from 0000 UTC Sept. 13 to 2359 UTC Sept.
14, 2003. Primary frequencies used will be on or near: 28.470, 21.270,
14.270, and 7.270 MHz.
A certificate will be mailed in response to all QSL cards received.
Stations working all three club stations (W0CXX, W5ROK, and W4CRC) will
receive a special endorsement on their certificate.
Send ALL QSL cards to the W0CXX call book address.
Check www.collinsclubs.com for any late announcements and/or additional
frequencies of operation.
