While aligning my WE 75S-3B, I noticed that inserting the dummy load plug or
connecting the 32S-3 to the XTAL OSC. OUTPUT would cause a significant
decrease in the HF crystal oscillator output.  This degraded the sensitivity
of the receiver.
Additionally, the PRESELECTOR peak for best receive was quite a bit off the
setting for best drive level on the 32S-3.
I swapped several 6EA8's (V3) until I found one that significantly reduced
the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Was it just a bad tube or a circuit problem?
