[Collins] Celebrating Mr. Collins Birthday

On Monday, September 9th, the Collins Radio Association (CRA) will be =
transmitting on 3853 Khz beginning a little before 9 PM EDST to listen =
for check-ins to the Collins Net.  W3CRA, our official call of the CRA, =
will be the net control station.=20

That evening will be the 93rd birthday of Arthur A. Collins who was born =
on September 9, 1909 and became a silent key on February 25, 1987. For =
every station that checks in, the CRA will issue a special color =
commerative certificate upon receipt of your QSL card.

Do set aside a few minutes on Monday evening to check in to say a few =
words about how you got started using Collins radio equipment, etc. =20

See you on Monday, 9 PM EDST on 3853 Khz.  We should be on for about an =
hour or unless there is considerable interest to check in for the =
commerative certificate.
