The 80 foot tower with the Wilson beam are still resting on the ground =
when they should be up in the air in back of the Collins Radio Center. =
Prediction is for some snow showers on Friday. I have fallen behind =
again in my goal to get the antenna system finished before the winter =
sets in on the Laurel Highlands where we live.

I know that Phillystran or Kevlar nonmetallic guy rope is available from =
Texas Tower but I am wondering if anyone might have some extra on a =
spool. I need about 350 feet of 3/16" of the 6700 lb. test cable. =20

Does anyone have a solution other than going to steel guy cable. The =
tower will be guyed at one point - the 60 foot level. This is the heavy =
industrial Rohn 55G tower.

Sure would like to put out a significant signal on 20 meters for the CRA =
Collins Net on Saturdays at 12 Noon EDST on 14.250 Mhz. The Collins =
Radio Center's temporary antenna is a 2 element HyGain 3-band beam up =
about 26 feet on a temporary tower.

Thanks for the assistance in making the Collins Radio Center fully =
operational in the antenna department, as they say.
