FYI

The new speaker reproducton 312B-3 unit that is being offered by =
Advanced Optics Limited has a much smaller speaker than that of the =
original speaker. However, the sound reproduction is 10 times better. =
I would recommend that anyone who is replacing the speaker in the =
312B-3 or 312B-4 contact this firm using the email address below and let =
all of know where these speakers are manufactured and at what cost. =20

It appears that when I look at my Advanced Optics Limited unit that the =
speaker is made in the U.K. I was going to investigate this but have =
not done so here is a chance for someone to step up to the plate and =
find out where the speaker is manufactured. Would make a better =
replacement than the original.

Incidentally, all of Advanced Optics Limited, Collins items can be found =
on the CRA website in the Collins Store section. It is the last item on =
the page. I have the speaker unit and switching box and the workmanship =
and parts are excellent.

Thank you.
