It's not a good idea to push the heat of the 2  PA tubes inside the radio
.....the fan must be under the chassi to cool all the resistors under the
chassi ......the pa  is well designed with 21 holes around the 2  PA tubes
so the heat must go UP  ....the PA  is not heat sensitive .
With a 24 VDC,  4 by 4  fan under the center of the chassi the PTO back is
only warm  instead of burning my fingers tips after 1 or 2 hours at least in
Florida ...
The 24 VDC fan is only powered with only 9 or 10 VDC  with a diode and a
5000 Mfd 15 volts  connected to the 6.3 VAC  RCA jack in the back .with NO
MORE FREQ. SHIFT .
Also watch the Hi voltage supplying the PTO .
