Sorry to be slightly off topic but I have just acquired a very nice
Gates AM transmitter model BC1G with selectable 1 kw and 250 watts output
uses a pair of 833's in the final modulated by pair of 833's. It is
presently tuned to 1320 khz so would be very easy to slide to 160 meters and
also could be put on to 75 meters without too much difficulty. Have digital
photos of same.
