Hello All....
I have recently assembled a station composed of a 73A-1 Receiver and a
32V-2 Transmitter. I am really pleased with the pieces and am enjoying AM
operation very much.
I have a question for the group... When listening to strong stations (S-9
or better) I don't get enough calibrating signal from the transmitter
(Emmission Switch in CAL position) to net the transmitter to the receive
frequency. I do get enough signal when listening to weaker stations.
I was told to string a wire within the two cabinets to help with delivering
more signal to the receiver. I did try this with no real improvement. I
didn't see anything in the manuals....
I'm hoping that someone here may have some experience with this situation
and have a simple fix for this problem...
Thanks for the read and any help.
