Dale, for the BFO or carrier crystals, go to International Radio Corporation
www.qth,com/INRAD
When I was in Dayton last week, I stopped by their booth and saw their new
line. The price is $20 each or $35 for the USB/LSB pair. Excellent
replacements for those "old, tired" crystals in your S-Line or KWM-2's.

INRAD also supplies a plug in custom PC board with the ceramic crystals for
SSB, CW and AM for the S-Line.

The hetrodyne cyrstals can be secured from International Crystals in
Oklahoma City, OK. They have a website.

Remember that crystals age and tend to drift off frequency. Those in the
Collins crystal packs may not necessarily be right on frequency which
results in having to adjust your fiduciary dial each time you go from band
to band. A Khz or so is not so bad but when it comes to wide excursions, I
would order "fresh" crystals.
