Johnstown has held that "nickname" for years and yet, those who know the
history of our region respect us as a people who have the resilency and
courage to bounce back against Nature's fury.  We survived three great
floods - 1889, 1937 and 1977 - because we may be down, at times,  but we are
never out!
Johnstown and Cambria County - the greatest people live here.

And, we do love our Collins radios!
Take a trip this summer to our area and visit the Collins Radio Center, just
a mile from the Johnstown Flood Memorial National Park near Saint Michael,
just off Route 219, where history comes alive and learn all about the Flood
of 1889, right at the dam site.
