[Collins] 75A-4 miscellaneous items needed for restoration

Hi Folks-

I'm hoping to tap the vast resource of knowledge here. I'm going through a 75A-4 (never done much of this restoration stuff before). I need a few tips:

1. Dial cord replacement string? Original looks a lot like plastic coated wire. I'm wondering if some size fishing leader would do?

2. Dial cord pulleys look poor. Any practical replacements? Or spin a new one on a lathe?

3. Anyone supply small quantities of St. James Gray paint? I just need a touch-up bottle for a few chips, and to paint the heads of replacement screws.
