The CRA is pleased to announce that Don Kang has developed yet another =
solid-state device to replace the 6AU6/7543 in the Collins S-LINE PTO. =
You can "read all about it" by going to the CRA website, =
www.collinsra.com and clicking on the Collins Album section, the =
web-based newsletter of the CRA, and then clicking on June, 2002. =20
We appreciate and support Don's efforts in bringing forth projects such =
as his solid-state audio 6BF5 and now the solid state device to replace =
the PTO tube in the Collins S-Line and KWM-2's. =20
If anyone would like to present his/her projects/modifications to the =
CRA for inclusion in the Collins Album section, please do so. =20
Although Don is producing the earlier device for sale, he doubts that he =
wants to produce the PTO solid state replacement. However, I would =
contact Don directly on this matter at his email address which follows =
the article.
Again, all of the credit goes to Allan Waller, QTH.NET owner, and Tom =
Jenkins, the CRA webmaster, for developing the CRA website. Please =
support QTH.NET with your contributions. Information is posted on =
www.qth.net Your support of the CRA and QTH.NET is most appreciated.
Incidentally, the new 75 meter frequency for the CRA Collins Net is now =
3853 Khz every Monday and Wednesday evening at 9 PM EDST. Please join =
us.
Thank you.
