Paul,
One of the joys of owning S-line radios is the ease of service.
Most radios can be aligned with minimal test equipment and the manuals offer
very good step by step instructions.  Still a little nervous? There are
videos available that will walk you through the process.
After you align a radio, you will have a terrific understanding of how it
works and be in a good position to trouble-shoot should a real problem
develop.
Of course, there is the pride and sense of accomplishment that comes with
knowing you can do it.
